Clinical background

Dr. Vosloo grew up on a family farm in South Africa. He spent much of his childhood out in the veld with the cattle herders, learning about plants and native African traditional medicine. Natural medicine came easily to him long before any formal training.

“I was five years old, promising my grandma some longevity potion.”Dr. Werner Vosloo, on wanting to be a doctor all his life

His formal training started with a six-year homeopathic medicine program at Technikon Natal in Durban: five years of coursework and clinical training, then a research year and a dissertation. The program trained homeopaths to a primary care level. From there he moved to the United States and completed his Doctorate in Natural Medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, where he also taught. He supervised homeopathic consultations for NUNM clinics and co-taught the IV micronutrient therapy course.

His practice drew the hardest cases in natural medicine from the start. At the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Centers, under Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum, MD, he treated patients with deep-seated chronic disease using IV therapies, advanced diagnostics, and full restorative protocols.

In 2010 he founded Restorative Health Clinic in the Portland area and ran it for more than a decade. One question kept coming up there: why did some patients fail to recover even when treatment was correct? Mold and biotoxin illness turned out to be a common, diagnosable, and overlooked driver of the chronic conditions he was treating.

He opened Restore BioClinic in St. George, Utah in 2018. The dry, warm climate is part of the treatment plan for mold illness recovery. The clinic uses advanced lab work to identify DNA epigenetic toxins and adducts, intracellular and mitochondrial toxins, and damage to cell and mitochondrial membranes. Treatment runs through Cellular Restoration Therapy: phospholipids, detoxification agents, nutrient cofactors, colon hydrotherapy to carry mobilized toxins out of the body, microbiome analysis and restoration, and autonomic nervous system regulation.

Dr. Vosloo and Return Healthy

Return Healthy's formulas did not start as a product catalog. They came out of Dr. Vosloo's clinical practice, built for needs he saw in patients recovering from mold illness, Lyme disease, and chronic multi-system conditions, and refined through years of use in the clinic. He reviews Return Healthy's educational content for clinical accuracy. Articles he has reviewed carry a "Medically reviewed by Dr. Werner Vosloo, ND" note with the review date.

Return Healthy supplements support general wellness and are not a substitute for individualized medical care. If you are looking for clinical evaluation and treatment, learn about Restore BioClinic.

Dr. Vosloo has been through mold illness and tick-borne illness himself. That experience shapes how he practices and why he believes recovery is possible with the right structured approach.
