Butyrate is one of the most important molecules in gut health that most people have never heard of. Tributyrin, supplied as Butyragen, is a more advanced, bioavailable form in which butyrate is bound to a glycerol backbone, allowing for a more sustained, longer-lasting release further along the gut. Together they provide both immediate and extended butyrate support, a broader and more consistent profile than any single form can offer.

Bacillus coagulans and Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG are two well-studied beneficial strains that support a healthy microbial environment, and Saccharomyces boulardii, a beneficial yeast, supports microbial balance and gut resilience, particularly during periods of digestive stress. A healthy microbial community is what produces butyrate naturally, so supporting the bacteria and supplying the butyrate work hand in hand.
